The handle is equipped with the same 10-24 threading as the Shovelhead or Zenleaf parts, ensuring effortless handle transfer.

First, performance. I wasnt expecting much difference tbh, just something new to try. A definite uptick in flavor, and feel like it blasted me a good bit better than the shovelhead. Been addicted to preheating the bowl lately and this takes it another step forward. Now the bad. Compared to the shovelhead it needs a bit of work. The glass stem has some wobble and could use another o-ring maybe. The biggest issue though is the screen, the glass bowl piece doesnt press down on it so there isnt anything actually holding it in place. I dump the abv and use the pick to get the little bits while its still upside down and when I went to pack I noticed that the screen had been pushed to the side with a gap straight thru. Just swapped it with a machined screen the same size and being taller it gets held in place by the glass above it. Other than that the only issue is the glass bowl is kinda crooked at the end which is a minor gripe. If youre looking to pull the most out of your flower id say its still worth it, though hope for an update at some point.
If you vale or smoke and you use water diffusion, this is THE best bowl on the market, period. So easy to clean and very well made.

One bowl in and I can tell I’m going to like it even more than the shovelhead. I love the shovelhead and thought it couldn’t get better but the matrix brings the whole experience up another level. The diffuser head sits a greater distance away to the herb on the matrix plus the all glass inner design makes for a better roast in my opinion. It doesn’t absolutely obliterate the herb while you’re still getting the heat-soak with the outer titnium. With the glass insert and stem the flavor is a major a step up, I’m super satisfied and couldn’t recommend it more.
I was surprised by this bowl, nice and sturdy, appreciate the big size and the versatility.
The flavour from this bowl its next step on comparison to the shovelhead.

Forget every other bowl, this is the one. The modularity of this thing is so welcome. Using O rings instead of a screw to hold the posts in and the ability to change inserts on the fly has been a complete game changer for me. The deeper bowl is also a very welcome addition for injector users. But perhaps my favourite thing is how easy it is to replace/remove screens for cleaning. It is no fuss and the flavour is noticeably better too imo. You must get the matrix to escape the matrix!
